Chinese New Year---Lin Xu

Red is an auspicious colour in the Chinese culture. It is a sign of prosperity and happiness. It is also often associated with fortune and good luck as it is used in every happy occasion such as weddings or Chinese New Year to name a few. So next time when you go to other people house to visit them, WEAR RED! Its auspicious so why not?

Symbol:
:-)πŸ˜ƒ
This symbol represents a smiley face which i always have on my face during Chinese New Year hahaha. This symbol represents happiness which is often found on people faces during Chinese New Year. It can be due to several reasons such as receiving ang baos, the lack of homework to name a few. All these can make teenagers like us who have stacks of homework and little money very very happy indeed. So cheers to Chinese New Year πŸ’°πŸ“ŠπŸ“ˆπŸ»πŸ»πŸ»

I chose this picture as it shows the horse coming out from the zero is 2014. This represents a new start to the year of horse. As the zodiac animals follow a 12 year cycle and this year is the year of horses. The numbers are decorated in red which brings luck and fortune. This picture is beautifully decorated with the horse in just the right place. I really hope this picture brings you luck. With this, lets end this happy festival with some fun, shall we? Let's chase the snakeπŸπŸ”« while we welcome the horse galloping into this new year🐴🐴🐴
